Overview
Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter with RPG mechanics, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, released in 2012. It is a "looter shooter": you work through quests, level up and pick up randomly generated weapons. It can be played solo or in co-op with up to four players.
Story and world
The game takes place on the planet Pandora. You play as a Vault Hunter, chosen from several characters, and find yourself up against Handsome Jack, the head of the Hyperion corporation.
The game has a solid story and a good length.
Gameplay
I admit I mostly played it to play with my friend who loves this game. It handles well. Each character has their own class, with a special skill and skill trees to develop as you level up.
Graphics and music
The graphics, cel-shaded in a comic-book style, have aged pretty well.
