Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion

Getting to play as Zack after playing Final Fantasy VII is a really great idea. You discover new characters and new antagonists such as Genesis.

The game is fairly short without overstaying its welcome, and there is quite a lot of content, even though I did not dig much into the optional content such as the missions. One of the things I liked least — though I have gotten used to it, having played almost every Final Fantasy — is the random encounters. I much prefer games like the "Tales of" series, which let the player dodge or engage enemies.

In terms of combat it is fairly classic: you can attack, dodge, parry, and use items and spells depending on the materia you have equipped.
