Overview
Overcooked! 2 is a co-op cooking game developed by Ghost Town Games and Team17, released in 2018. It is the direct sequel to Overcooked!: you prepare and serve orders together, against the clock, in increasingly outlandish kitchens.
Story and world
The Onion Kingdom is back. This time, the Onion King accidentally awakens an army of undead bread, and once again it is up to the chefs to save the day by cooking. As in the first one, the story is mostly a pretext to string the levels together.
Gameplay
It is the same formula, but better stocked and better paced. There is more content, with more levels and recipes. Ingredient throwing also changes quite a lot: instead of carrying everything by hand, you can toss an ingredient to a teammate or straight into a pan.
Above all, there is the online mode that Overcooked! was missing, which lets you play together without being in the same room.

The one to go for if you only play a single one.
