Overview
Super Mario Party is a party game developed by NDcube and published by Nintendo, released in 2018. I played it on Nintendo Switch.
Story and world
There isn't really a story: Mario and his friends compete on game boards to collect the most stars.
Gameplay
Each character has their own dice block in addition to the standard one, and you can recruit allies as the game goes on. The minigames are played with a single Joy-Con per player, often with motion controls.
There are barely 4 boards, and they are tiny. The minigames aren't fun at all: there are few of them and they quickly get tiresome.
Graphics and music
The game uses the series' usual colourful Mario style.
Verdict
Barely 4 boards, all tiny, and few minigames that aren't fun and get tiresome. Give this one a miss.
